Cultural Heritage of Bengal

We aim to promote Bengal’s rich cultural heritage, bringing together the diaspora from South Asia, living in Australasia

Bengalis (singular Bengali Bengali: বাঙালি, বাঙ্গালী [baŋali, baŋgali] ( listen)), also rendered as Bangalee or the Bengali people, are an IndoAryan ethnolinguistic group originating from and culturally affiliated with the Bengal region of South Asia.

Bengalis are the thirdlargest ethnic group in the world, after the Han Chinese and Arabs. Thus, they are the largest ethnic group among the IndoEuropeans and the largest ethnic group in South Asia
